The US president has honoured America’s veterans, on the same day that he met with his national security team to discuss whether to send mroe troops to the war in Afghanistan.

Jonathan Bartlett is one of the soliders Obama was honouring on Veterans Day. Bartlett wanted to go to Afghanistan after the September 11th attacks.
