Israel’s Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says further military action is likely against Palestinians firing rockets from Gaza. This, just hours after the Israeli military confirmed its operation in the strip had wound down. The apparent pause in the assault comes as the European Union and the United States send senior politicians to the region to try to put what is left of the Annapolis peace process back on track.
