In part one of a special 3 part series, Al Jazeera’s Awad Jouama met his father, Hussein, in Denmark where he now lives. As they work their way to what was once Palestine, they travel through Lebanon where Hussein spent most of his life in the Baalbek refugee camp, in the Bekaa Valley. As time wore on he joined the Paelstinian resistance.

Looking at one man’s journey, this special 3 part series discovers one man’s journey back to Palestine, his first time since he was expelled in 1948. From Palestine, he fled to a rfeugee camp in Lebanon and from Lebanon to Denmark. Al Jazeera’s Awad Joumaa takes his ftaher to the country he fled from.
