Egypt’s criminal court has sentenced two policemen to three years in jail over a torture case that has sent shockwaves through Egypt’s police force.The policemen were found guilty of tortuting a bus driver last year, and the incident was captured on mobile phone.Al Jazeera’s Amr el-Kahky reports.

Six medical staff, sentenced to death in Libya for infecting more than 400 children with the HIV virus will hear the results of their final appeal on Wednesday.

But on the eve of the appeal, a senior Libyan doctor has told Al Jazeera he’s convinced the children were infected deliberately.
