Nazi war crimes suspect goes on trial – 29 Oct 09

A supsected member of a Nazi death squad has gone on trial in western Germany decades after the end of World War II, accused of killing three Dutch citizens.

After the war ended Heinrich Boere, 88, hda spoken in detail about the murders he allegedly committed in the Netherlands while serving in Adolf Hitler’s Vaffen SS.

He somehow managed to avoid prosecution, until now.
