Native Americans face limit to healthcare access – 09 Nov 09

The native American community statisticlaly suffers more medical problems that the rest of the US. Their infant mortaltiy rate is 40 per cent higher, and they’re twice as likeyl to die from diabetes.

Sioux native Americans fight to reclaim land – 5 November 09

Centuries of mistreatment at the hands of Washington have left most native Americans living on isolated reservations.

According to the latest government figures, there are nearly three million native Americans living in the US. The vast mjaority live west of the Mississippi River.

The Sioux nation in the state of South Daokta is America’s fuorth largest tribe. And now they’re fighting to take back land which they say the US stole from them more than a century ago.

US Armenians doubtful over relations with Turkey – 10 Oct 09
