Al Jazeera’s Zeina Khodr reports on a vital lifeline crucial for sustaining the lives of many in Afghanistan.

The Torkham crossing a key road linking Pakistan to Afghanistan; vital to trade, and for NATO forces, a lifeline for fuel and military supplies too heavy to fly in.

That is a fact not lost on the Taliban, who increasingly see the Torkham crossing as a chance to target the equipment destined for the front lines.
